This week was dominated by one story: Dean Gaffney saying he'd applied to be a spy.
Yes, just like Michael Fabricant, you couldn't make it up. And maybe The Sun did. But aside from the Gaffney bombshell, this week also saw the publication of a small pamphlet called The Leveson Report, a debate over minimum alcohol prices, more local by-elections, more UKIP controversy, and the news that the new Bank of England Governor is Mark Carney. Or as he's known in his native Canada: Mark Carn, Eh!
